Why sellers like it

  • Name and job title, each with its own letter size
  • Three shapes: rounded corners, round ends, or slanted ends
  • Swappable: when someone moves on, the new sign goes on the same wall mount, with no new holes or tape
  • Width follows the name, so every sign in an office matches

A door sign for every cabin

The office door sign puts a person's name and job title in raised letters inside a raised rim. The two-colour finish of an engraved plate comes straight off the printer.

Pick rounded corners for a classic plate, round ends for a softer look, or slanted ends for a modern office. The rim can sit on the edge or be set in for a framed look.

Printing tips

  • Print it face up, as designed. The magnet pockets or keyhole slots are on the bed side and need no supports.
  • Press 10 x 2 mm round magnets into the pockets with a drop of glue, checking they attract the bar's magnets before the glue sets.
  • Change colour, or let an AMS swap filament, for the letters and rim.

Selling tips

Clinics, schools and offices need a sign for every door. Lock the shape, font, colours and width for the first order and save them, so later signs match. When staff change, the office orders only the new sign: the wall mount stays on the door.

Questions about the office door sign

How does it go on the door?

On a [swap wall mount](/designs/wall-mount): a small bar screwed or taped to the door once. By default the sign has two magnet pockets and sticks to the bar's magnets. Choose studs instead and the sign drops over the bar's two studs and slides down. Either way the next sign goes on the same bar, so nothing is thrown away but the old sign. You can also choose screw holes through the front, or a flat back for tape.

Can I hang the stud version without a bar?

Yes. Its keyhole slots also hang on two pan-head screws 60 mm apart, heads up to 9 mm across and shanks up to 5 mm, left standing about 2 mm proud of the door.

How big is it?

60 mm tall and as wide as the name needs, at least 156 mm. Turn auto width off to make every sign in a building the same width.
